Hey everyone! Thanks for stopping by and checking in on what CrossSeekers Campus Ministry is up to this summer at West Chester University. We are pumped for those of you who are returning to campus for the summer months of study. Be sure to keep up with what CrossSeekers is up to. We’ll be out there for you!
Check it out! We’ll be getting together every Tuesday night in Sykes Student Union to dig into a book by John Piper titled Don’t Waste Your Life. We’re really excited about the potential of this study to open students up to the prospect that they could be wasting their lives by pursuing things that don’t really matter. As Louie Giglio has said, “Life is really short, and you have to live for the things that really matter most.” This book and discussion will hopefully open us all up to a new perspective on life.
On Wednesday nights, we’ll once again meet in Sykes for a Bible study on the book of Colossians. This is one of the most amazing letters contained in all of Scripture and it’s diminutive size is misleading because it is packed with loads of good stuff that clue us in on Paul’s theology and the truth of who Christ was and continues to be in the lives of believers.
Other than these studies, we’ll be planning some other activities to get out and get to know each other better. Be sure to look for us on campus where we’ll be shooting hoops, tossing the old frisbee and any number of other fun stuff.
We hope you have a great summer term at West Chester University. CrossSeekers Campus Ministry is committed to making it the best it can be for you. Feel free to hit us up via e-mail at wcubcm@yahoo.com or shoot us an I.M. on AOL at crossseekerswcu.
We’ll see you around!
