Here’s what’s coming up over the next few weeks for CrossSeekers Campus Ministry here at West Chester University:
Mon., April 7 — Ladies! Come to Sykes Common Ground area at 8 p.m. to jump in on a study of Ephesians. Another great chance to get together and study the Bible together.
Tues., April 8 — Breakfast Crew is at it again in the Academic Quad outside Main Hall. We’re dishing out free breakfast bars, so come by for one of your own and to help pass them out! 7:30-8 a.m. every Tuesday!
Tues., April 8 — For the Guys! We’ll move along in our study of Nehemiah, looking at the fourth chapter of this exciting book. We gather together in 230 Killinger Hall every Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. It’s a great time of growth and discussion.
Wed., April 9 — We’ll continue our study of Song of Solomon and look at what real romance looks like in a relationship. We get together every Wednesday night at 7:15 in Goshen 101A. Come and find out what God has to say about relationships.
Fri.-Sun., April 18-20 – Focus 08 Leadership Retreat at Camp Old Mill. We’ll head out and join in with other collegiate ministries from around the Philly area for a weekend retreat designed to provide quality leadership growth for college students. It’s not too late to sign up, but the deadline is coming soon. It’s a $40 cost, but we’ll do what we can to get you there, even if that means taking care of the total cost. We hope to take as many students as we can. (Contact Brodie for more details at wcubcm@yahoo.com).
Coming up on finals week: The Journey (200 S. Church St.) will be hosting a free cookout and movie night on Tuesday, May 6. Seriously, it’s going to be free! And a good chance to get together with friends. The following night, CrossSeekers Campus Ministry will host a free Study Break at the same address. We’ll have video games, board games, card games, movies, foosball, air hockey, pool and more (including tons of free food and drinks). We’ll kick the Study Break off at about 5:30 p.m., and we’ll go until we can’t go anymore. Bring your friends to either of these Finals Week events.
NOTE: Remember that Becky and Brodie are here for you too and would love to chat over a meal or just hang out sometime to get to know you better. If you’d like to ge together, check with us on Wednesday night or shoot us an e-mail (wcubcm@yahoo.com). And please know that if you see a cost associated with any event, don’t let that be a burden. If you can’t afford it but want to go, we’ll make it happen. We’re here for you!
